Runaway military horses caught by police in London

The army was called in to help locate the animals, after which they were tamed.

Several runaway military horses that were on the loose in Central London have been caught by police, local authorities said on Wednesday (Apr 24).

The army was called in to help locate the animals, after which they were tamed. Four people were injured and were taken to the hospital after the horses ran amok, reported BBC.

The Westminster Police posted an update on Wednesday, informing that all of the horses were accounted for. "We're pleased to confirm that all of the horses have been accounted for. We are continuing to liaise with the Army," the tweet read.

The London Ambulance Service was called early morning to reports of a person being thrown from a horse near Buckingham Palace Road, a spokesperson for the service told news agency Reuters.
