Manipur violence: 2 Myanmar-based militants arrested, arms and cash recovered

Two members of the Chin Kui Liberation Army (CKLA), a non-SoO (Suspension of Operations) in Manipur, were recently caught in a joint operation by police and Central armed forces.

Two members of the Chin Kui Liberation Army (CKLA), a non-SoO (Suspension of Operations) in Manipur, were recently caught in a joint operation by police and Central armed forces. The two cadres were held with a huge cache of arms, ammunition, drugs and cash.

The CKLA members were caught from the Chaijang area along the India-Myanmar border on Monday.

"The security forces arrested 02 (two) cadres of non-SoO group CKLA from Chaljang, Churachandpur district along the Indo-Myanmar border," Manipur Police said in an official statement.
