Hezbollah says 2 members, one civilian dead in pager explosions across Lebanon

Hezbollah leadership said it was an "Israeli breach" of its communications.

Over 1,000 people, including Hezbollah fighters and medics, were injured on Tuesday when the pagers they use to communicate exploded across Lebanon. The Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was among those injured, according to Iran's Mehr news agency.

According to Reuters, a Hezbollah official said the detonation of the pagers was the "biggest security breach" the group had been subjected to in nearly a year of war with Israel.

According to news agency AFP, Hezbollah leadership said it was an "Israeli breach" of its communications.

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military.
