Beijing: Four people have been killed in an explosion caused by a gas leak at a coal mine in China.

One of the largest coal mines in the province of Shanxi in northern China.

The mine, which is operated by one of China's largest trading houses, the Lu'an Group, produces 1.2 million tons of coal a year.

A sudden explosion caused by a gas leak in the mine at 02.00 am on Tuesday.

It has been confirmed that four people were killed in the accident. Another was seriously injured.

Recovery work is fully completed. Regarding the accident, the investigation is ongoing.
