Ten boys killed in Uganda lightning strike

Four people survived the incident and three of them are being treated at the hospital

Uganda: Ten boys have been killed in a lightning strike in Uganda. Children from the villages of Gbuluku and Nyaute in Uganda were killed by lightning.

Recently, ten children aged 11 to 16 were huddled in a hut near a football field as the rain intensified while they were playing football on the field. At that time 10 people were burnt to death in the lightning strike.

Four people survived the incident and three of them are being treated at the hospital. The bodies of the deceased juveniles have been duly handed over to their relatives, police said.
