California: In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, various companies around the world, including IT offices, have asked their employees to work from home. In this case, Google has extended the deadline for employees to work from home until June 2021 due to the spread of the coronavirus.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in an email to employees, "We are extending permission for employees to work from home so that they can plan their future activities."
This means that all responsible employees who do not need to come to work in the office can work from home until June 30, 2021. It will benefit about 2 lakh Google employees and contractors worldwide.
