The stabbing left a man in his 30s with life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a nearby trauma centre. Later on Thursday, his condition was upgraded to stable.His attacker, a man, is still at large and wanted for attempted murder.
In a news release late Thursday, Toronto police said they were called to Eglinton station, in the area of Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue West, at about 12:20 p.m.
Police described the suspect as 25 to 30 years old, five foot 10, with a thin build and a shaved head and no facial hair. He was wearing a grey hooded sweater with "GAP" on the front, black pants, black shoes, and was carrying a green back pack. Police have released images of the man.
