Parliament 'assault' case against Rahul Gandhi transferred to Crime Branch

The Delhi Police Crime Branch has taken over the investigation into the scuffle outside Parliament that occurred during protests by MPs from the ruling BJP and Congress.

Both parties have lodged complaints against each other, alleging physical assault and injuries during the altercation.

The incident left two BJP MPs injured, who were later hospitalised for treatment. Among them, BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi reportedly sustained injuries to his forehead.
