Sri Lanka: All people, regardless of party affiliation, race or religion, must work together at this critical juncture, Anunayake Thera of the Malwatte Chapter Ven. Dimbulkumbure Wimaladhamma Thera said.

He said it was the responsibility of all nations to respect peace and reconciliation without persecuting others.

People are currently facing many issues. All the members of Parliament should be focused on finding solutions to the problems of the people, the chief prelate said.

Some people act ignorantly and trying to break national and religious unity, he said.

Therefore, it would be appropriate to understand the consequences at this juncture and to work together to overcome the current crisis, the Mahanayake Thera said.
