Kyiv: A military plane has crashed in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, killing at least 22 people. The military has also confirmed that the plane crashed. Twenty-two soldiers were burnt to death in the crash, two of whom escaped with serious injuries. The crash happened Friday night local time.
The plane turned into a fireball as it prepared to land at an airport outside the city of Chuhuiv. Authorities have refused to release the number of passengers on the plane, which is owned by the military. However, local media reported that more than 20 people may have travelled. Two were recovered with 90 percent burns and hospitalized.
