New Defence Attaché of Chinese Embassy Meets Defence Secretary

The newly appointed Defence Attaché of the Embassy of China in Sri Lanka, Senior Colonel Fu Xiao, has paid a courtesy call on Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd.).

The meeting, held at the Ministry of Defence, focused on bilateral discussions covering mutual interests and various aspects of defence cooperation between the two countries.

Deputy Defence Attaché and Naval Defence Attaché of the Chinese Embassy also participated in the discussions, which aimed at further strengthening defence ties between Sri Lanka and China.
