Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not optimistic about the country's chances of joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (Nato) amid war with Russia.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not optimistic about the country's chances of joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (Nato) amid war with Russia.

During an address after a meeting with Dutch and Belgian Prime Ministers Mark Rutte and Alexander De Croo, he said, "We are realistic, we know we will not be in Nato during the war."

"But we want a very clear message that we will be in Nato after the war," he said.
