Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific has decided to send 27,000 workers on forced leave as the impact of the coronavirus continues to grow at an alarming rate.

The Hong Kong airliner, which has recently recovered from the loss of a series of struggles, has been hit by the Corona virus again.

Its management is now asking 27,000 employees to take leave without pay.

Airlines are facing heavy losses as most countries have cancelled flights to and from China due to a virus threat.
