Chennai: An official announcement has been made that the film 'Aatha', which was made in the Bharathiraja-Ilayaraja alliance, will be dropped.

Director Bharathiraja has announced that the film has now been dropped. He has issued a statement in this regard.

"My dear Tamil people. Aatha is a story that should have been filmed 15 years ago. If I had filmed this story before, you might have seen your Bharathiraja. There is something called the sphere of time. Aatha seeks the nucleus of many cinemas that came into this period of practical modern progress. Again, the film Aatha is dropped because it would cause great loss both materially and professionally. The new announcement, with a new title and a new technology alliance, will be announced very soon," he said.
